RESOLUTION APPROVING ORDER ACCEPTING
ACKNOWLEDGMENT/SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT WITH BJ'S
SPORTS BAR & BILLIARDS, 110 IDA STREET, AND
DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID ORDER BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Order Accepting Acknowledgment/Settlement Agreement
dated July 12, 2010, assessing penalty in the amount of $300.00,
in conjunction with First Violation of Iowa Code 453A.2(1) for
selling, giving, or otherwise supplying any tobacco, tobacco
products or cigarettes to any person under eighteen years of age,
by and between BJ's Sports Bar & Billiards, 110 Ida Street,
Waterloo, Iowa and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is
hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to
execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of July, 2010.
