Members present: Hart, Jones, Schmitt, Lind, Morrissey, and Welper. Absent: Cole.
Moved by Schmitt, seconded by Jones that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Ayes: Six.
Motion carried.
An Ordinance amending Section 5-2-6 (A)(1) Discharging Weapons was discussed.
Joe Liebold, Captain of Police Service, explained that the ordinance, would allow any City
employee to discharge a weapon within the scope of their duty to terminate wildlife.

Sandie Greco, Traffic Superintendent, explained that this would not include cats or dogs. The
animals would be transported and shot in a controlled situation.
It was the consensus of the committee to place this ordinance change on next week's council
agenda but limit it to Airport and Animal Control.
With no further business before the committee, it was moved by Lind, seconded by Morrissey
that the meeting be adjourned at 5:08 p.m. Ayes: Six. Motion carried.
