RESOLUTION APPROVING GRANT WITH THE U.S.
DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, BUREAU OF JUSTICE
ASSISTANCE AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID
GRANT BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the grant dated July 12, 2010, for the Iowa/Byrne - Justice
Assistance Grant (JAG) Program, in the amount of $350,728.00,
with a required local match of $116,909.00, for funding of the
Tri -County Drug Enforcement Task Force from July 1, 2010 through
June 30, 2011, by and between the U.S. Department of Justice,
Bureau of Justice Assistance and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be
and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor authorized to
execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of July, 2010.
