RESOLUTION APPROVING A PERMANENT EASEMENT
AGREEMENT WITH JACQUELINE M. BUCKLEY FOR
$266.60 LOCATED TO THE NORTH OF 4015
ALEXANDRA DRIVE, IN RELATION TO THE DRY RUN
INTERCEPTOR FORCE MAIN SANITARY SEWER
PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the Permanent Easement Agreement, dated March 7,
2016, of the hereinafter described parcel is to allow for the
city to construct, inspect, maintain, repair, operate, and remove
certain drainage and utility improvements to the north of 4015
Alexandra Drive, property owned by Jacqueline M. Buckley, in
relation to the Dry Run Interceptor Force Main sanitary sewer
project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Permanent Easement Agreement between
Jacqueline M. Buckley and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, for the
hereinafter described parcel, all of which is situated in the
City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, State of Iowa, is accepted
and approved:
DESCRIPTION: PERMANENT EASEMENT
A PARCEL OF LAND BEING PART OF VACATED MURPHY ROAD
AND SITUATED IN THE SOUTHWEST 1/4 OF THE SOUTHWEST 1/4 OF
SECTION 2, TOWNSHIP 88 NORTH, RANGE 13 WEST OF THE 5TH
PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, CITY OF WATERLOO, COUNTY OF BLACK HAWK,
STATE OF IOWA DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
COMMENCING AT THE SOUTHWEST, CORNER OF SAID SECTION 2; THENCE
NORTH 89° (DEGREES) 13' (MINUTES) 30" (SECONDS) EAST (ASSUMED
BEARING FOR THE PURPOSE OF THIS DESCRIPTION) ON THE SOUTH
LINE OF THE SOUTHWEST 1/4 OF SAID SECTION 2, A DISTANCE OF
1117.68 FEET TO THE PRESENT EASTERLY RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF
ALEXANDRIA DRIVE; THENCE NORTH 00004'06" EAST ON THE PRESENT
EAST RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF ALEXANDRIA DRIVE, 27.60 FEET TO THE
POINT OF BEGINNING OF THE PARCEL OF LAND HEREIN DESCRIBED;
THENCE CONTINUING NORTH 00004'06" EAST ON THE PRESENT EAST
RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF ALEXANDRIA DRIVE, 5.40 FEET TO THE
NORTHERLY LINE OF VACATED MURPHY ROAD; THENCE SOUTH 83°46'53"
EAST ON THE NORTH LINE OF A PARCEL OF LAND DESCRIBED IN CITY
LOT DEED BOOK 661, PAGE 203 AND RECORDED IN THE OFFICE OF THE
BLACK HAWK COUNTY RECORDER, 57.60 FEET; THENCE NORTH
89009'48" WEST, 57.28 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.
CONTAINING 155 SQUARE FEET.
