RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO STORY
CONSTRUCTION CO. OF AMES, IOWA, FOR THE F.Y.
2010 E. SIXTH STREET STORM PUMP STATION
IMPROVEMENTS, CONTRACT NO. 716, IN THE AMOUNT
OF $708,800.00.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Story Construction Co. of Ames, Iowa, in the
amount of $708,800.00, for the F.Y. 2010 E. Sixth Street Storm
Pump Station Improvements, Contract No. 716, described in the
plans and specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for
said project, after public hearing as published notice required
by law, be and is hereby accepted, the same being the lowest bid
received for said work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contract with the said contractor for the construction of said
improvements, said contract not to be binding on the City until
approved by this Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of July, 2010.
