A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT
AGREEMENT WITH ROBERT A. YOUNG AND JOHN B. YOUNG OF WATERLOO, IOWA IN
CONNECTION WITH THE LOCAL FLOOD CONTROL PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo is engaged in a local Flood Control
Project, and
WHEREAS, in order to maintain access to the adjacent properties along
Sheffield Avenue during the construction of the flood control levees it will
be necessary to construct a temporary access road, and
WHEREAS, Robert A. Young and John B. Young are title holders of the
land required for the by pass road, and
WHEREAS, Robert A. Young and John B. Young have executed an Easement
Agreement stipulating under what conditions the City of Waterloo or its
assigned contractor may construct the temporary by pass road on their land,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor be authorized to execute
the proposed Easement Agreement on behalf of the City of Waterloo, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of the executed Easement Agreement
be returned to Robert A. Young and John B. Young for their records.
