RESOLUTION APPROVING PAYMENT OF $4, 343.04
ACCUMULATED SICK LEAVE AND VACATION PAY TO
ROY L. DUFFY, RETIREE AS SUPERINTENDENT OF
PARKS.
WHEREAS, on the 12th day of July, 1979, Roy L . Duffy re-
tired from employment in the Parks Department in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, Roy L. Duffy is entitled to payment for 23 days
of sick leave, and
WHEREAS, Roy L . Duffy has earned and is entitled to 35
days vacation pay, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
ICW , that Roy L . Duffy be paid the total amount of $4, 343.04,
being payment in full for above mentioned sick leave and earned
vacation, and that the Finance Director be, and he is hereby,
authorized, empowered and ordered to draw a warrant accordingly
for said sum and deliver the same to Roy L . Duffy.
Passed and adopted by City Council on 9th day of July, 1979,
approved by the Mayor on 9th day of July, 1979.
