RESOLUTION APPROVING PAYMENT OF $4, 867. 74
ACCUMULATED SICK LEAVE AND VACATION PAY TO
JOHN A. FLYNN, RETIREE OF FIRE DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, on the 29th day of June, 1979, John A. Flynn re-
tired from employment in the Fire Department in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, John A. Flynn is entitled to payment for 117 days
of sick leave, in the amount of $3, 566. 16, and
WHEREAS, John A. Flynn has earned and is entitled to nine
24 hour days vacation pay, in the amount of $1, 301. 58, now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, that John A. Flynn be paid the total amount of $4, 867. 74,
being payment in full for above mentioned sick leave and earned
vacation, and that the Finance Director be, and he is hereby,
authorized, empowered and ordered to draw a warrant accordingly
for said sum and deliver the same to John A. Flynn.
Passed and adopted by City Council on 9th day of July, 1979,
approved by the Mayor on 9th day of July, 1979.
