RESOLUTION ,APPROVING PAYMENT OF $5, 484. 25
ACCUMULATED SICK LEAVE AND VACATION PAY TO
MORRIS BENSON, RETIREE OF STREET DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, on the 5th day of July, 1979, Morris Benson re-
tired from employment in the Street Department in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, Morris Benson has accumulated 643 z hours of sick
leave, in the amount of $3, 906.05, and
WHEREAS, Morris Benson has earned and i5 entitled to 260
hours vacation pay, in the amount of $1, 578. 20, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, that Morris Benson be paid the total amount of $5, 484. 25,
being payment in full for above mentioned sick leave and earned
vacation, and that the Finance Director be, and he is hereby,
authorized, empowered and ordered to draw a warrant accordingly
for Said Sum and deliver the same to Morris Benson.
Passed and adopted by City Council on 16th day of July,
1979, approved by the Mayor on 16th day of July, 1979.
