RESOLUTION APPROVING 1.ND ACCEPTING THE STATEMENT DATED
JULY 12 , 1979 ,FROM BRICE , PETRIDES , AND ASSOCIATES , INC . ,
ENGINEERS , FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR DESIGN OF DRY RUN
CREEK FLOOD CONTROL WORKS , CONTRACT NO. 99 , AND
AUTHORIZING PAYMENT ACCORDINGLY.
WHEREAS , Brice, Petrides , and Associates , Inc . , Engineers ,
Waterloo, Iowa have rendered engineering services in connection with
the Design of Dry Run Creek Flood Control Works , Contract No. 99 in
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS , the amount of the cost for said engineering services ,
rendered by the said Brice, Petrides and Associates , Inc . , as shown
in their statement dated July 12 , 1979 is/$151 , 809 . 05
now, therefore ,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That Brice, Petrides , and Associates , Inc . be paid the sum of
$151 , 809 . 05 being payment for the statement dated July 12 , 1979 , on
said contract for engineering services rendered in connection with
the Design of Dry Run Creek Flood Control Works , Contract No . 99 , in the
City of Waterloo , Iowa, and the Finance Director, be, and he is hereby,
authorized, empowered and ordered to draw a warrant accordingly for
said sum and deliver the same to Brice, Petrides , and Associates , Inc . ,
of Waterloo , Iowa.
Passed and adopted this 23rd day of July, 1979 .
