RESOLUTION PRELIMINARILY ,APPROVING PLANS,
SPECIFICATION FORM OF CONTRACT AND ESTI-
MATED COST, ETC. , FOR DOWNTOWN UDAG PRO-
JECT, PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS, PHASE I, CON-
TRACT N O. 175.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
heretofore employed the Brice, Petrides & Associates, Inc. , En-
gineers, Waterloo, Iowa, to prepare proposed form of contract
for Downtown UDAG Project , Public Improvements, Phase I, Contract
No. 175, in said City; and
WHEREAS, said engineers have completed the preparation of
said proposed plans, specifications and proposed form of contract
so far as the same relate to the Downtown UDAG Project , Public
Improvements, Phase I, Contract No. 175, and has this day placed
the same on file with the City Clerk of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, and after examination and due consideration thereof by this
Council the same appear to be in compliance with the order of this
Council and suitable for the purpose intended; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1 - That said proposed plans, specificationsand pro-
posed form of contract for the Downtown UDAG Project , Public Im-
provements, Phase I , Contract No. 175, be, and the same are hereby
approved and ordered placed on file for public examination.
Section 2 - That the 27th day of August, 1979 at 7 :00 o'clock
P.M. , in the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Water-
loo, Iowa, is fixed as the time and place for hearing on said pro-
posed plans, specifications, form of contract , etc. , and the taking
of bids therefor.
Section 3 - That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, author-
ized and instructed to publish the necessary notice as required by
law.
Passed and adopted this 6th day of August , 1979.
