RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF MAIN STREET
WATERLOO TO CLOSE JEFFERSON STREET BETWEEN W.
PARK AVENUE AND W. 3RD STREET, W. 3" STREET
BETWEEN JEFFERSON STREET AND BLUFF/WASHINGTON
STREET, AND BLUFF/WASHINGTON STREET BETWEEN
W. 3RD STREET AND W. PARK AVENUE ON JULY 31,
2010 FROM 6:00 A.M. TO 1:00 P.M. TO
ACCOMMODATE THE DOWNTOWN FARMER'S MARKET.
WHEREAS, Main Street Waterloo has requested to close
Jefferson Street between W. Park Avenue and W. 3rd Street, W. 3rd
Street between Jefferson Street and Bluff/Washington Street, and
Bluff/Washington Street between W. 3rd Street and W. Park Avenue
on July 31, 2010 from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to accommodate the
Downtown Farmer's Market.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Main Street Waterloo to close
Jefferson Street between W. Park Avenue and W. 3rd Street, W. 3rd
Street between Jefferson Street and Bluff/Washington Street, and
Bluff/Washington Street between W. 3rd Street and W. Park Avenue
on July 31, 2010 from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to accommodate the
Downtown Farmer's Market, be and the same is hereby approved.
