RESOLUTION FIXING THE 'TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING AS
SEPTEMBER 24, 1979 ON PROPOSAL TO CONVEY CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY TO J. RUSSELL LOWE BUILDING COMPANY,
SUBJECT TO CITY'S RETENTION OF A 16 FOOT EASEMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 - That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
shall meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the
City of Waterloo, Iowa at 7 :00 o' clock P.M. , on the 24th day
of September, 1979, for the purpose of considering and acting
upon a proposal to convey the vacated alley lying South of Lots
1 to 8, inclusive, in Block 5 in "Rose Hill First Addition to
the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, to J. Russell
Lowe Building Company for appraised price previously paid to
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, subject to City ' s retention of a
16 foot easement , to correct the defective procedure of May
17, 1960, requested by Wallace Butler, .Atty. , for J. Russell
Lowe Building Company owned by the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 2 - That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Daily Courier, in the manner provided by Section 362.3 of the
1975 Code of Iowa.
Passed and adopted this 10th day of September, 1979.
