RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE
STATEMENT DATED AUGUST 28, 1979 FROM
BRICE, PET RIDES & ASSOCIATES, INC. , FOR
ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR UDAG DOWNTOWN
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS, PHASE I, AND AUTH-
ORIZING PAYMENT ACCORDINGLY.
WHEREAS, Brice, Petrides & Associates, Inc. , Engineers, Water-
loo, Iowa, have rendered engineering services in connection with the
UDAG Downtown Public Improvements, Phase I, in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, and
WHEREAS, the amount of the cost for said engineering services,
rendered by the said Brice, Petrides & Associates, Inc. , as shown
in their statement dated .August 28, 1979, is $89, 342.75, now, there-
fore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That Brice, Petrides & Associates, Inc. , be paid the sum of $44, 671 .38
from UDAG funds and $44, 671 . 37 from City funds, being payment for the
statement dated August 28, 1979, on said contract for engineering
services rendered in connection with the UDAG Downtown Public Im-
provements, Phase I, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and the Finance
Director, be, and he is hereby, authorized , empowered and ordered
to draw a warrant accordingly for said sum and deliver the same to
the said Brice, Petrides & Associates, Inc. , of Waterloo, Iowa.
Passed and adopted this 10th day of September, 1979.
