RESOLUTION APPROJING PAYMENT OF $7, 518. 34
ACCUMULATED SICK LEAVE AND VACATION PAY TO
FLORINE BROWN RETIREE OF RECREATION DEPART-
MENT.
WHEREAS, on the 31st day of August , 1979, Florine Brown
retired from employment in the Recreation Department in the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, Florine Brown has accumulated and is entitled
to payment for 120 days of sick leave, in the amount of $5,
40 2.40 , and
WHEREAS, Florine Brown has earned and is entitled to 47
days vacation pay, in the amount of $2, 115.94, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, that Florine Brown be paid the total amount of $7, 518. 34,
being payment in full for above mentioned sick leave and earn-
ed vacation, and that the Finance Director be, and he is hereby,
authorized, empowered and ordered to draw a warrant accordingly
for said sum and deliver the same to Florine Brown.
Passed and adopted by City Council on 10th day of September,
1979, approved by the Mayor on 10th day of September, 1979.
