RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA
AS WATERLOO HOUSING AUTHORITY, ESTABLISHING THE AFFIRMATIVE
ACTION EMPLOYMENT PLAN FOR THE WATERLOO NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSING
SERVICES, INC. SPONSORED SECTION 8 EXISTING HOUSING PROJECT
NO. IA05-E050-005.
WHEREAS, the Waterloo Housing Authority, on behalf of Waterloo
Neighborhood Housing Services, Inc. , is making application to the U. S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development for fifty (50) units of Section
8 Existing Housing; and,
WHEREAS, the Affimative Action Employment Plan (Currently called the
"Personnel Policy of Managing Agent for the City of Waterloo) must be filed
with the said application; and,
WHEREAS, the "Personnel Policy of Managing Agent for the City of Waterloo"
is hereby amended and retitled; and,
WHEREAS, the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development requires
that the Affirmative Action Employment Plan be submitted with the Equal
Opportunity Housing Plan in conjunction with said application,
NOW THEREFOREBE IT RESOLVED that after a Public Hearing was held on the
matter, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, as the Waterloo Housing
Authority, establishes the attached Affirmative Action Employment Plan for the
Section 8 Existing Housing Project IA05-E050-005.
Passed and adopted this 24th day of September, 1979, approved by the
Mayor this 24th day of September, 1979.
