RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AS OCTOBER 15, 1979 ON PROPOSAL
TO VACATE, SELL AND CONVEY CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY TO VIRGIL LOUI EILERS, SAMELLA
CHAMBERS AND ELAINE MARY MORRISON.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATEILOO, IOWA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 - That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall meet
in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
at 7: 00 o' clock P.M. , on the 15th day of October, 1979, for the purpose
of considering and acting upon a proposal to vacate, sale and convey an
east-west alley in Block 1 , Ricker and Bratnober ' s Addition to Virgil
Loui Eilers, Samella Chambers and Elaine Mary Morrison for the sum of
$0. 10 per square foot , plus costs, and legally described as follows:
Vacation
The east-west alley located within Block One (1) , Ricker and
Bratnober ' s Addition, City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Sale and Conveyance
TO: Samella Chambers, the following described real property, for
the sum of $56.00 plus costs.
The ten (10) foot alley located adjacent to and south of Lot
Six (6) , Block One (1) , Ricker and Bratnober ' s Addition, City
of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
TO: Elaine Mary Morrison the following described real property
for the sum of $56.00 plus costs.
The ten (10) foot alley lying south of and adjacent to Lot
Seven (7) , Block One (1) , Ricker and Bratnober ' s Addition,
City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
TO: Virgil Loui Eilers the following described real property for
the sum of $56.00 plus costs.
The ten (10) foot alley lying adjacent to and south of Lot
eight (8) , Block One (1) , Ricker and Bratnober ' s Addition,
City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Section 2 - That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of
the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier, in the manner
provided by Section 362. 3 of the 1979 Code of Iowa.
Passed and adopted this 24th day of September, 1979.
