RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AS OCTOBER 15, 1979 IN CITY HALL
ON PROPOSAL TO VACATE, SELL AND CONVEY A
PORTION OF WREN ROAD.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 - That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
shall meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the
City of Waterloo, Iowa at 7 :00 o'clock P.M. , on the 15th day
of October, 1979, for the purpose of considering and acting
upon a proposal to vacate, sell and convey a portion of Wren
Road adjacent to Tract "A" Bronson Addition to Clayton E.
Bronson and Sheridan, Inc. , for the sum of $330.00, plus costs
legally described as follows:
That part of Wren Road adjacent to Tract "A"
Bronson Addition Waterloo, Iowa, described as
follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner
of said Tract "A" thence Northerly along the
West line of said Tract "A" One Hundred Ten
(110) feet ; thence Westerly parallel to the
South line of said Tract "A" Thirty (30)
feet ; thence South parallel to the West line
of said Tract "A" One Hundred Ten (110) feet ;
thence East Thirty (30) feet to the point of
beginning.
Section 2 - That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier, in the manner provided by Section 362. 3 of the 1979
Code of Iowa.
Passed and adopted this 24th day of September, 1979.
