A RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING AND
NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON VACATION OF A DRAINAGE EASEMENT
IN SECTION 2-88N-13W AS OCTOBER 22 , 1979 ,AT 7 : 00 P .M.
IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF CITY HALL AND CLERK TO
PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO , IOWA,AS
FOLLOWS :
Section 1-That the Council of the City of Waterloo , Iowa, shall meet
in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa at 7 : 00 o ' clock P .N. on the 22nd day October, 1979 , for the
purpose of considering and acting upon a proposal to vacate a
drainage easement in Section 2-88N-13W described as follows :
A parcel of land located in the Northeast Fractional
4 of Section 2 ,Township 88 North,Range 13 West of the
5th Principal Meridian,Black Hawk County, Iowa de-
scribed as follows :
Commencing at the NW corner of said NE Fractional 4
Section 2 ; thence N 90 00 ' East a distance of 1023 . 7
feet ; thence South 0° 05 ' West a distance of 458 . 6
feet; thence S 23 242' East a distance of 285 . 80
feet to the point of beginning; thence S 63° 48 ' West
a distance of 144. 97 feet; thence along a spiral
curve, said curve being the former right-of-way line
of Highway #412 , concave Northwesterly a distance of
6 . 09 feet which has a chord bearing of N 8° 392'
East and a chord distance of 6 . 09 feet ; thence N 63°
48 ' East a distance of 141. 73 feet ; thence South 23°
242' East a distance of 5 . 01 feet more or less to the
point of beginning.
Section 2-That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
