RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE AND CONVEYANCE OF E.1 T-
WESALLEY
IN BLOCK 1, RICKER AND BRATNOBER'S ADDITION, FOR $0. 10 PERT SQUARE
FOOT PLUS COSTS, TO VIRGIL LOUI EILERS, SAMELLA CHAMBERS AND ELAINE
MARY MORRISON, RESPECTIVELY AND DIRECTING AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AND DELIVER A QUIT CLAIM DEED FOR SAID
PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is the owner of real property in the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, as described below, and
WHEREAS, an offer to purchase said certain parcel of real

WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on October 15, 1979 at 7:00 P.M. in the
Council Chambers in City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, as provided by law, by the Council
of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the proposal to sell and convey
by the City of Waterloo, Iowa, to Virgil Loui Eilers, Samella Chamberslses and Elaine
Mary Morrison, Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that sale and conveyance should
be made as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
AS FOLLOWS:
1. The following described real property as fully described in the published
notice in the Waterloo Courier on September 28, 1979, is not presently needed and
will not be needed in the foreseeable future for municipal purposes and its owner-
ship is serving no municipal purpose.
The east-west alley located within Block One (1) , Ricker and
Bratnober' s Addition, City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
2. That the offer of $56.00 plus costs of Samella Chambers to purchase the
following described real property, be, and it is hereby accepted:
The ten (10) foot alley located adjacent to and south of Lot
Six (6) , Block One (1) , Ricker and Bratnober ' s Addition, City
of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
That the offer of $56.00 plus costs of Elaine Mary Morrison to purchase
the following described real property, be, and it is hereby accepted:
The ten (10) foot alley lying south of and adjacent to Lot(7) , Block One (1) , Ricker and Bratnober ' s Addition, City of even
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
That the offer of $56.00 plus costs of Virgil Loui Eilers to purchase the
following described real property, be, and it i5 hereby accepted:

4. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute and deliver
said Deeds to Samella Chambers, Elaine Mary Morrison and Virgil Loui Eilers, res-
pectively.
5. That the original of said Deeds fully executed and acknowledged having been
submitted with this Resolution, the same are hereby approved and confirmed by the
ouncil . �.
6. That the City Clerk is authorized and directed to deliver said Deeds of con

:eipt of the sum of Fifty six and no/100 ($56.00) Dollars and costs each.
