RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE AND CONVEYANCE OF PORTION OF
WREN ROAD ADJACENT TO TRACT "A" , BRONSON ADDITION, FOR $330.00
PLUS COSTS TO CLAYTON E. BRONSON AND SHERIDAN, INC. , AND DIRECT-
ING AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AND DE-
LIVER A QUIT CLAIM DEED FOR SAID PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is the owner of real property in the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, as described below, and
WHEREAS, an offer to purchase .said certain parcel of real property in the
sum of $330.00 and costs, has been made by Clayton E. Bronson and Sheridan, Inc. ,
and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on October 15, 1979 at 7:00 P.M. in the
Council Chambers in City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, as provided by law, by the Council
of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the proposal to sell and convey premises owned
by the City of Waterloo, Iowa, to Clayton E. Bronson and Sheridan, Inc. , Waterloo,
Iowa, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that sale and conveyance should be
made as proposed .
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, AS FOLLOWS:
1. The following described real property as fully described in the published
notice in the Waterloo Courier on September 28, 1979, is not presently needed and
will not be needed in the foreseeable future for municipal purposes and its owner-
ship is serving no municipal purpose:
That part of Wren Road adjacent to Tract "A" Bronson Addition
Waterloo, Iowa, described as follows: Beginning at the South-
west corner of said Tract "A" thence Northerly along the West
line of said Tract "A" One Hundred Ten (110) feet ; thence West-
erly parallel to the South line of said Tract "A" Thirty (30)
feet ; thence South parallel to the West line of said Tract "A"
One Hundred Ten (110) feet ; thence East Thirty (30) feet to
the point of beginning .
2. That the offer of Clayton E. Bronson and Sheridan, Inc. , to purchase said
real property for the sum of Three hundred thirty-three and 00/100 ($330.00) Doll-
ars and costs be, and it is hereby accepted for the above described real property.
3. That the City of Waterloo, Iowa, convey said parcel of real property to
Clayton E. Bronson and Sheridan, Inc. , by Quit Claim Deed, the form of which is
hereto attached and approved .
4. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute and deliver
said deed to Clayton E. Bronson and Sheridan, Inc. ,

submitted with this Resolution, the same is hereby approved and confirmed by the
Council .
6. That the City Clerk is authorized and directed to deliver said deed of
conveyance to Clayton E.Bronson and Sheridan, Inc. , upon receipt of the sum of
Three hundred thirty-three and 00/100 ($330. 00) Dollars and costs.
Passed s and adopted this 15th day of October, 1979.
