RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF DALE J.
CLARK CONTRACTING CO. , FOR F.Y. 1980
SANITARY SEWER PROGRAM, CONTRACT NO. 193.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Dale J. Clark Contracting Co. of Waterloo, Iowa
for the F.Y. 1980 Sanitary Sewer Program, Contract No. 193 in
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, filed with the City Clerk in accord-
ance with the terms of the published notice calling for proposals
for the construction of the said improvement , be, and the same
is hereby, accepted , the bid of Dale J. Clark Contracting Co.
in the amount of $30, 273.00, being the lowest legal bid received
on said proposal , and that the contract be awarded to Dale J .
Clark Contracting Co. of Waterloo, Iowa, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be,
and they are hereby, authorized , instructed and ordered to enter
into a contract on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, for the
construction of the said improvement with the said Dale J . Clark
Contracting Co. , but said contract shall not be binding upon
said city until the same has been duly approved by the council .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all other bids for said improve-
ment be, and they are hereby, rejected , and the City Clerk is
hereby authorized and directed to return unto the persons filing
the same the certified checks accompanying such rejected bids.
Passed and adopted this 15th day of October, 1979.
