RESOLUTION APPROVING PAYMENT OF $4, 292. 40
SICK LEAVE AND VACATION PAY TO NELLIE M.
SMITH, RETIREE OF CITY CLERK'S OFFICE.
WHEREAS, on the 31st day of October, 1979, Nellie M. Smith
retired from employment in the City Clerks Department in the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, Nellie M. Smith is entitled to payment for 699 1/3
hours of sick leave, in the amount of $3, 755.40, and
WHEREAS, Nellie M. Smith has earned and is entitled to 100
hours vacation pay, in the amount of $537.00, now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, that Nellie M. Smith be paid the total amount of $4, 292. 40,
being payment in full for above mentioned sick leave and earned
vacation, and that the Finance Director be, and he is hereby,
authorized, empowered and ordered to draw a warrant accordingly
for said sum and deliver the same to Nellie M. Smith.
Passed and adopted by City Council on 15th day of October,
1979, approved by the Mayor on 15th day of October, 1979.
