HomeMy WebLinkAbout2010-632-7 /19/2010RESOLUTION NO. 2010-632 RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE REQUEST OF DICK AND DON HURST FOR A SITE PLAN AMENDMENT TO THE "S-1" SHOPPING CENTER DISTRICT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED NORTH OF 2102 KIMBALL AVENUE GENERALLY LOCATED AT THE NORTH END OF THE KIMBALL RIDGE SHOPPING CENTER NEAR THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF KIMBALL AVENUE AND WEST RIDGEWAY AVENUE, AS AUGUST 2, 2010, AT 5:30 P.M. IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS IN CITY HALL AND INSTRUCTING CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF HEARING. WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 2nd day of August, 2010, for the purpose of considering the request of Dick and Don Hurst for a Site Plan Amendment to the "S-1" Shopping Center District for property located north of 2102 Kimball Avenue generally located at the north end of the Kimball Ridge Shopping Center near the northwest corner of Kimball Avenue and West Ridgeway Avenue for the purpose of construction of a 2,543 square foot Coffee Shop/Restaurant, and legally described as follows: Lots 101 and 102 of Second Addition to Kenyon's Addition to the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, and also, the 16' easement in Second Addition to Kenyon's Addition that lies South of Lots 101 and 102 in said Addition, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
