RESOLUTION PRELIMINARILY APPROVING PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ESTIMATE OF
COST, ETC., FOR DEMOLITION AND SITE CLEARANCE
PROJECT, CONTRACT NO. 171 -D -EDI -08-02-10 FOR
THE FOLLOWING PROPERTIES: 1828 FRANKLIN
STREET, SYCAMORE STREET SITE CLEARANCE, 215
COURTLAND STREET, 411 ARCHER STREET, 318-320
IRVING STREET, 160 DAWSON STREET AND 438 W.
AIRLINE HIGHWAY.
WHEREAS, the City Council previously instructed the Contract
and Grants Coordinator to prepare and file plans, specifications,
form of contract and preliminary estimate of cost, etc., for
Demolition and Site Clearance Project, Contract No. 171 -D -EDI -08-
02-10 for the following properties: 1828 Franklin Street,
Sycamore Street Site Clearance, 215 Courtland Street, 411 Archer
Street, 318-320 Irving Street, 160 Dawson Street and 438 W.
Airline Highway at an estimated cost of $36,000.00, in the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, as specified in the specifications, and
WHEREAS, the Contract and Grants Coordinator has filed said
plans, specifications, form of contract and preliminary estimate
of cost, etc., and the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
having considered the same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said plans, specifications, form of contract
and preliminary estimate of cost, etc., be, and the same are
hereby preliminarily approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of July, 2010.
