RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF SOUTH WATERLOO
CHURCH OF BRETHREN FOR VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE
NO. 3094, NOISE ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the South Waterloo Church of Brethren is requesting
a variance to the Noise Ordinance on August 15, 2010 from 10:00
a.m, to 2:00 p.m. in conjunction with an outdoor church worship
to be held in Lichty Park, including PA system and music, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Ordinance
No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said the South Waterloo Church of Brethren has made
formal application for a variance effective August 15, 2010 from
10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of the South Waterloo Church of
Brethren for a variance to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance,
on August 15, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. be held in Lichty
Park, including PA system and music, be and the same hereby
granted.
