RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENT, FORM OF
CONTRACT, ETC., FOR DEMOLITION AND SITE
CLEARANCE PROJECT, CONTRACT NO. 171 -D -EDI -08-
02-10, FOR THE FOLLOWING PROPERTIES: 1828
FRANKLIN ST, SYCAMORE STREET SITE CLEARANCE,
215 COURTLAND STREET, 411 ARCHER STREET, 318-
320 IRVING STREET, 160 DAWSON STREET AND 438
W. AIRLINE HIGHWAY.
WHEREAS, the City Council previously instructed the Contract
& Grants Coordinator to prepare and file plans, specifications,
bid document, form of contract, etc., for the Demolition and Site
Clearance Project, Contract No. 171 -D -EDI -08-02-10, for the
following properties: 1828 Franklin St, Sycamore Street site
clearance, 215 Courtland Street, 411 Archer Street, 318-320
Irving Street, 160 Dawson Street and 438 W. Airline Highway at an
estimated cost of $36,000.00, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, as
specified in the specifications, and
WHEREAS, said Contracts and Grants Coordinator did file said
preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., for
the Demolition and Site Clearance Project, Contract No. 171 -D -
EDI -08-02-10, which were preliminarily approved on July 19, 2010,
and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on July 26,
2010, and no objections were made.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said proposed plans, specifications, bid
document, form of contract, etc., for the Demolition and Site
Clearance Project, Contract No. 171 -D -EDI -08-02-10, in the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, be, and the same are hereby, approved as
filed.
