RESOLUTION APPROVING A DEVELOPMENT
AGREEMENT WITH PRAIRIE RAPIDS II, LLC TO
CONSTRUCT FORTY-EIGHT (48) NEW HOUSING UNITS,
LOCATED NEAR THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF KIMBALL
AVENUE AND RIDGEWAY AVENUE, INCLUDING THE
INFILL POLICY INCENTIVE OF $5,000.00 PER UNIT UPON
COMPLETION, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Development Agreement dated May 15, 2023, between Prairie Rapids II, LLC and the
City of Waterloo to construct forty-eight(48)new housing units, located near the southeast
corner of Kimball Avenue and Ridgeway Avenue, including the infill policy incentive of
$5,000.00 per unit upon completion, and legally described as follows:
PARCEL "D" OF PLAT OF SURVEY DOC. #2009-06842, BEING A PART OF
THE NORTHWEST FRACTIONAL QUARTER OF SECTION 3, TOWNSHIP
88 NORTH, RANGE 13 WEST OF THE 5TH P.M., IN THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA. COMMONLY KNOWN AS
PARCEL 8813-03-151-031 BY THE BLACK HAWK COUNTY ASSESSOR'S
OFFICE
is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said
document on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
