ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS AMENDED, BY
ADDING SUB-SECTION NO. 40 TO SECTION 2A-5 OF SAID ORD-
INANCE, REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF WATER-
LOO, IOWA.
BF IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1. That Section 2A-5 of Ordinance No. 2479, as amended,
be further amended by adding after Sub-Section No. 39 of said sec-
tion, the following Sub-Section Forty (40) :
"40 The Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter and the
Southwest quarter of the Southwest Quarter, except that
part thereof platted as Arthur W. Smith Second Addition,
Waterloo, Iowa, and except that portion described as
follows : Beginning at a point on the West line of the
SW 4 of the SW t of Sec. 4-88-13 240.00 feet south of
the NW corner thereof; thence N. 89° 39 ' E. a distance
of 265.00 feet; thence Easterly along a tangent curve
wnich is concave southerly and of radius 356.08 feet a
distance of 247 . 74 feet; thence S. 50° 29 ' ll" E. a
distance of 218.29 feet; thence S. 390 30 ' 49" W. a
distance of 104.64 feet; thence West a distance of
596.51 feet to the west line of said SW 1 SW k; thence
North a distance of 300.00 feet to the point of be-
ginning. The west line of the SW k SW '7: is assumed to
bear due North-South, and except all legal highways and
streets , all in Section 4, Township 88 North, Range 13
West of the 5th P.M. in Black Hawk County, Iowa, (Said
description includes all of Prairie Meadow West, in the
City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.)
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "R-1, R-P"
Planned Residence District, be and the same is hereby zoned
as "R-3, R-P" Planned Residence District as above described."
Section 2. That the City Clerk be, and he is hereby directed to
file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Recorder of Black
Hawk County, Iowa.
