HomeMy WebLinkAbout2668-03.04.1974 ORDINANCE NO. 2 6 6 8 ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS AMENDED, BY ADDING SUB-SECTION NO. 60 TO SECTION 2A-5 OF SAID ORDINANCE, RE-ZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA : Section 1. That Section 2A-5 of Ordinance No. 2479, as amend- ed, be further amended by adding after Sub-Section No. 59 of said section, the following Sub-Section Sixty (60) : "60 That part of the Northwest Quarter (NWk) of Section Seven (7) , Township Eighty-eight North (T88N) , Range Thirteen West (R13W) of the Fifth Principal Meridian, Black Hawk County, Iowa , lying East of U.S. Highway No. 63; and North of a line which is Thirty (30) feet Southerly of and parallel with a line which passes through the intersection point of the centerlines of Ranchero Road and said U.S. High- way No. 63 and the intersection point of West Fourth Street and Winghaven Road . Also that part of the Northeast Quarter (NE'4) of said Section Seven (7) lying West of aline which is One Thousand Two Hundred (1200) feet Easterly of and parallel with the Easterly right-of-way line of U.S. Highway No. 63; lying Northerly of a line which is Thirty (30) feet Southerly of and parallel with a line which passes through the intersection point of the centerlines of Ranchero Road and said U.S . High- way No. 63 and the intersection point of West Fourth Street and Winghaven Road ; and lying Southerly of a line described as beginning at a point on the West line of said Northeast Quarter (NE4) which is Forty (40) feet South of the South right-of-way line of Iowa Highway No. 412; thence Southeasterly to a point which is Three Hundred (300) feet East of the West line of said North- east Quarter (NEt) and Two Hundred Sixty (260) feet South of said South right-of-way line of Iowa Highway No. 412; thence Northeasterly to a point which is One Thousand Two Hundred (1200) feet normally distant from the East- erly right-of-way line of U.S . Highway No. 63 and Ninety (90) feet South of the South right-of-way line of said Iowa Highway No. 412, now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa , as ''A-1" Agricultural District, be and the same is hereby zoned as "C-2" Commercial District as above described ." Section 2. That the City Clerk be , and he is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Recorder of Black Hawk County, Iowa.
