AN ORDINANCE VACATING THE SEWER EASEMENT DATED 12/17/71
IN KLINGAMAN KNOLLS ADDITION WITH INCORRECT LEGAL DESCRIP-
- TION DUE TO TYPOGRAPHICAL ERROR IN THE ORIGINAL LEGAL DES-
CRIPTION IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS FULLY DESCRIBED
IN THE PUBLIC NOTICE IN THE WATERLOO DAILY COURIER ON JUNE
28 AND JULY 5, 1974.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
That the sewer easement dated December 17, 1971 in Klingaman
Knolls Addition with incorrect legal description due to typographical
error as fully described in the public notice in the Waterloo Daily
Courier on June 28 and July 5, 1974, described as follows :
A strip of ground 60 ' in width the centerline of which
is described as follows: beginning at a point on the
West line of the Northeast quarter of Section 7, Township
88 North, Range 13 West of the fifth P.M. in Black Hawk
County, Iowa, which is 1531.07 feet Soutti of the Northwest
corner of said Northwest quarter; thence deflect left from
said West line 54° 50 ' in a Southeasterly direction a
distance of 1966 .91 feet to intersect the centerline of
West Fourth Street at a point 1708. 1 feet Southwesterly of
the intersection of the c ► terline tangent of West Fourth
Street and the East line of the Northeast quarter of said
Section 7; and exception therefrom all legal streets and
highways .
shall be, and the same is hereby, vacated.
Passed and adopted this 5th day of August, 1974.
