A RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING AND
NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON VACATION OF A PORTION OF
LITCHFIELD AVENUE AS NOVEMBER 19 , 1979 AT 7 : 00 P.M.
IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF CITY HALL AND INSTRUCTING THE
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA AS
FOLLOWS :
Section 1-That the Council of the City of Waterloo , Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa at 7 : 00 o ' clock P .M. , on the 19th day of November,
1979 , for the purpose of considering and acting upon a proposal to
vacate a portion of Litchfield Avenue requested by B . Schultz
and Company and the Lloyd Kreger Estate, owned by the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, described as follows :
VACATION
A part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter
of Section 14, Township 89 North,Range 13 West of the 5th
P.M. in Black Hawk County described as beginning at a
point on the North line of Litchfield Avenue which is
707 . 5 feet South and 131. 2 feet West of the Northeast
corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter
of said Section 14 and running thence West 546 . 8 feet
along the North line of Litchfield Avenue, thence South
29 feet to the South line of Litchfield Avenue, thence East
546 . 8 feet along the South line of Litchfield Avenue, thence
North 29 feet to the place of beginning .
SALE AND CONVEYANCE :
A part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of
Section 14,Township 89 North, Range 13 West of the 5th P.M.
in Black Hawk County decribed as beginning at a point on
the North line of Litchfield Avenue which is 707 . 5 feet
South and 131. 2 feet West of the Northeast corner of the
