RESOLUTION NO. 2023-373
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT FOR THE
TRAFFIC SAFETY IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FUNDING
GRANT WITH THE IOWA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION, IN THE AMOUNT OF $500,000.00, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE CONSTRUCTION OF A
ROUNDABOUT AT HAMMOND AVENUE AND SHAULIS
ROAD, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Agreement dated June 5, 2023, for the Traffic Safety Improvement Program Funding
Grant with the Iowa Department of Transportation, in the amount of $500,000.00, in conjunction
with the construction of a roundabout at Hammond Avenue and Shaulis Road, is hereby
approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said document on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of June 2023.
