RESOLUTION APPROVING FIVE YEAR COLLECTIVE
BARGAINING AGREEMENT WITH AFSCME LOCAL 1195
PLANNERS AND ENGINEERS WITH WAGE REOPENER IN
YEARS FOUR AND FIVE; AFSCME LOCAL 1195 POLICE
LIEUTENANTS AND CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS
WITH WAGE REOPENER IN YEARS FOUR AND FIVE;
TEAMSTERS LOCAL 238 WITH WAGE REOPENER IN
YEARS FOUR AND FIVE; MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES LOCAL
UNION NO.177; COMMUNICATION WORKERS OF
AMERICA; WATERLOO POLICE PROTECTIVE
ASSOCIATION WITH WAGE AND INSURANCE REOPENER
IN YEARS FOUR AND FIVE AND INTERNATIONAL
ASSOCIATION OF FIRE FIGHTERS LOCAL NO. 66 WITH
WAGE AND INSURANCE REOPENER IN YEARS FOUR AND
FIVE, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND HUMAN
RESOURCES DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that
the five year Collective Bargaining Agreement with AFSCME Local 1195 Planners and
Engineers with wage reopener in years four and five; AFSCME Local 1195 Police Lieutenants
and Code Enforcement Officers with wage reopener in years four and five; Teamsters Local 238
with wage reopener in years four and five; Municipal Employees Local Union No.177;
Communication Workers of America; Waterloo Police Protective Association with wage and
insurance reopener in years four and five and International Association of Fire Fighters Local No.
66 with wage and insurance reopener in years four and five, be and the same is hereby approved,
and the Mayor and Human Resources Director authorized and directed to execute said documents
on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of June 2023.
