At present each SP is assigned to one SBC or the other. Our 2023 plan will relocate the SBC in Cedar Falls to our Iowa City Data Center and provide Geo-Redundancy for all Strategic Partners and upstream providers. • All PSTN trunking (TDM or SIP) must terminate to an ImOn SBC or Universal Media Gateway (UMG). This is done by ImOn and Strategic Partners do not need to establish trunking to any other provider. • Strategic Partners are responsible for their internal voice networks and may or may not chose to install, manage and maintain an SBC on the edge of their network. • ImOn currently supports G.711 and G.729. Default QoS settings are DSCP 46 for media and DSCP 24 for signaling. Cedar Falls, IA Marion, IA Iowa City, IA The interconnection from Waterloo to the CFU Core Network (red) is the only new connection required to establish full connectivity. The Layer 2 Vlan ID would be negotiated between CFU and Waterloo while the Layer 3 addressing and routing would be negotiated with the ImOn Engineers.Voice CoreImOn Core ImOn Core ImOn Core SBC UMG SBC SBC Voice CoreVoice CoreTDMSIPSIPSIPStrategic Partners CFU Core Network Waterloo Straegic Partner
