AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NJ. 1946, AS AMENDED, BY REPEALING
SECTION SC PARAGRAPH (3) IN ITS ENTIRETY AND ENACTING IN LIEU THERE OF A
SECTION 4C PARAGRAPH (3), IN 1HE CITY Jr WATERLOO, BLACK RAVI K COUNTY,
IOWA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLoO, BLACK HAV K COUNTY,
IOWA:
Section 1 . That Section sC Paragraph (3) of Ordinance No. 1946, aE amended
shall be and the f ame is hereby repealed in It entirety and the following section JC
Paragraph (3) enacted in lieu thereof:
(3) If a street is designed to have one end permanently closed
(cul-de-sac) it hall provide a minimun of a thirty-five (34)
foot approved surface turning radius, a minimun of a thirty-
five (3s) foot radius curb return and shall be of not less than
a fifty (50) root radius right-of-way. Further, the distance
from the back of the curb to the right-of-way line shall be the
same or greater distance than that on the approaching street.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk be, and ne is hereby, directed to file a
certified copy of this ordinance with the Recorder of Black Hawk County, Iowa.
