AN ORDINANCE RENAMING CERTAIN STREETS AND NAMING CERTAIN
UNNAMED STREETS IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF WATERLOO, IOWA.
Sec. 1 That the name of the public street located in Section 29, 'Town-
ship 89 North, Range 12 West of the 5th P.M. in the City of Waterloo, Iowa
and extending East from the East line of Maywood Avenue to the West line of
Fox Street which is presently known by the name of Archer Street is, by these
presents, changed to the name of Archer Avenue and said public street shall
hereafter be known by the name of Archer Avenue.
Sec. 2 That the name of the public street located in Section 29, Town-
ship 89 North, Range 12 West of the 5th P.M. in the City of Waterloo, Iowa
and extending East from the East line of Maywood Avenue to the West line of
Sky View Road which is presently known by the name of Butler Street is, by
these presents, changed to the name of Butler Avenue and said public street
shall hereafter be known by the name of Butler Avenue.
Sec. 3 i.'hat the name of the public street located in Section 29, Town-
ship 89 North, Range 12 West of the 5th P.m. in the City of Waterloo, Iowa
and extending East from the East line of Maywood Avenue to the West line of
Sky View Road which is presently known by the name of Cottage Grove Street is,
by these presents , changed to the name of Cottage Grove Avenue and said public
street shall hereafter be known by the name of Cottage Grove Avenue.
Sec. 4 That the name of the public street located in Section 29, Town-
ship 89 North, Range 12 West of the 5th P.M , in the City of Waterloo, Iowa
and extending East from a point 305 feet West of the West line of Short Street
to the West line of Fox Street which is presently known by the name of Dear-
born Street is, by these presents, changed to the name of Dearborn Avenue and
said public street shall hereafter be known by the name of Dearborn Avenue.
Sec. 5 That the name of the public street located in Crossroads Shopping
Center in the City of Waterloo, Iowa and extending from the Southeasterly line
of Crossroads Boulevard to the Southeast line of Iowa Highway No. 412 which is
presently known by the name of Flemming Street is, by these presents, changed
to the name of Flammang Street and said public street shall hereafter be known
by the name of Flammang Street.
Sec. 6 That the name of the public street located in Central Heights Ad-
dition in the City of Waterloo, Iowa and extending North from the North line of
Huntington Road to a point 102.5 feet North of the North line of Onawa Drive
which is presently known by the name of Wedgewood Drive is , by these presents ,
changed to the name of Edgewood Drive and said public street shall hereafter be
known by the name of Edgewood Drive.
Sec. 7 That the name of the public street presently known as Wagner
Street located along the East line of Section 33 , 'Township 90 North, Range 13
West of The 5th P.M. , the East line of Section 4, Township 89 North, Range 13
West of the 5th P.M. and Section 9 , Township 89 North, Range 13 West of the
jth P.M. all in the City of Waterloo, Iowa and extending North from the North
line of West Donald Street to the North City Limits which is presently known by
the name of Wagner Street is, by these presents , changed to the name of Wagner
Road and said public street shall hereafter be known by the name of Wagner Road.
Sec. 8 That the name of the public street located in Section 21 , 'Town-
ship 89 North, Range 13 West of the 5th P.M. in the City of Waterloo, Iowa
and extending East from the East line of South Hackett Road to the intersection

of Valley Drive and present Maynard Avenue which is presently known by the
name of Eastwood Road is, by these presents, changed to the name of Maynard
Avenue and said public street shall hereafter be known by the name of Maynard
Avenue.
Sec. 9 That the name of the public street presently known as Iowa High-
way No. 412 in the City of Waterloo, Iowa and extending East from the East line
of Kimball Avenue to the Southwesterly line of LaPorte Road (U.S. Highway No.
218) which is presently unnamed, is, by these presents, given the name of East
San Marnan Drive and said public street shall hereafter be known by the name of
East San Marnan Drive.
Sec. 10 That the name of the public street presently known as Iowa High-
way No. 412 in the City of Waterloo, Iowa and extending West from the West
line of Kimball Avenue to the East line of Sergeant Road (U.S. Highway No. 63)
which is presently unnamed, is, by these presents, given the name of West San
Marnan Drive and said public street shall hereafter be known by the name of West
San Marnan Drive.
