AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 20, HUMAN RELATIONS,
OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO CODE OF ORDINANCES, BY
ADDING THE WORDS "PHYSICAL DISABILITY" TO SECTIONS
20-30(b) , 20-36 (a) , 20-36 (b) , 20-43 (a) , 20-43 (b) ,
20-43 (c) , 20-50(a) , 20-50(b) and 20-50(c) , and by
Defining Same in 20-1.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that:
Chapter 20, Human Relations, be amended by adding the words "physical
disability" to the following sections:
20-30(b) race, creed, color, sex, national origin, religion
or physical disability
20-36 (a) race, creed, color, sex, national origin, religion
or physical disability
20-36 (b) race, creed, color, sex, national origin, religion
or physical disability
20-43(a) race, creed, color, sex, national origin, religion
or physical disability
20-43 (b) race, creed, color, sex, national origin, religion
or physical disability
20-43 (c) race, creed, color, sex, national origin, religion
or physical disability
20-50(a) race, creed, color, sex, national origin, religion
or physical disability,
20-50(b) race, creed, color, sex, national origin, religion

Chapter 20 - 1, Definitions be amended by adding:
20-1 Physical disability means the physical condition of a person
which constitutes a substantial handicap. In reference to employ-
ment, under this chapter, disability also means the physical con-
dition of a person which constitutes a substantial handicap, but
is unrelated to such person's ability to engage in a particular
occupation.
