A RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AS DECEMBER 17, 1979, ON PROPOSAL
TO VACAT E , SELL AND C ONV EY A P .ORT I ON OF
L ITCHF IELD AVENUE TO B . SCHULT Z AND COM-
PANY AND THE LLOYD KREGER ESTATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
S ection 1 - That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
shall meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the
City of Waterloo, Iowa at 7:00 o'clock P.M., on the 17th day
of December, 1979, for the purpose of considering and acting
upon a proposal to vacate, sell and convey a portion of Litch-
f ield Avenue for $1,585.72, plus costs, with City's retention
of utility easement as requested by Jon Fister, Atty., for B.
S chultz and Company and the Lloyd Kreger Estate, owned by the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, described as follows:
A part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast
Quarter of Section 14, Township 89 North, Range 13
West of the 5th P.M. in Black Hawk County described
as beginning at a point on the North line of Litch-
field .Avenue which is 707.5 feet South and 131.2
feet West of the Northeast corner of the Southwest
Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 14
and running thence West 546.8 feet along the North
line of Litchfield .Avenue, thence South 29 feet to
the South line of Litchfield .Avenue, thence East
546.8 feet along the South line of Litchfield Ave-
nue, thence North 29 feet to the place of beginning.
S ection 2 - That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier, in the manner provided by Section 362.3 of the 1979
Code of Iowa.
Passed and adopted this 3rd day of December, 1979.
