RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE
AND COMPLETION REPORTS AS TO WORK AND MATERIALS FURNISHED
BY U & I CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC., FOR F.Y. 1980
SIDEWALK PROGRAM CON. NO. 46 AND CERTIFYING PAYMENT
ACCORDINGLY AND ACCEPTING THE WORK.
WHEREAS, U & I Construction Co., Inc. of Waterloo, Iowa,
h ave under contract with the City of Waterloo, Iowa, dated 10-8-79,
f urnished certain materials and performed labor in connection with
` F. Yo 1980 Sidewalk Program,Contract No. 46, in the City of Waterloo
Iowa, and

WHEREAS, the U & I Construction Coo, Inc., of Waterloo, Iowa,
f or work performed and materials furnished by the said Contractors under
said contract is $14,479.60, and,
WHEREAS, Said Contractors have been previously paid the amount
no dollars leaving a balance due of $14,479.60 now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the report of the Engineers be approved, said Contractors, U & I
Construction Co., Inc., be paid the sum of $13,031.64 or 90% of Total
construction cost, with the remaining 10% or $1,447.96 to be paid
after 30 days, in compliance with section 573.14 of the Code of Iowa,
and the same be delivered to the said U & I Construction Co., Inc.
Passed and adopted this 3 day of December, 1979.
