RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE AND
COMPLETION REPORT AS TO WORK AND MATERIALS FURNISHED BY
LEHMAN TRUCKING & EXCAVATING FOR CASTLE HILL DRAINAGE
IMPROVEMENTS, PHASE I, CON. NO. 85 AND CERTIFYING PAYMENT
ACCORDINGLY AND ACCEPTING THE WORK
WHEREAS, Lehman Trucking & Excavating of Waterloo, Iowa,
have under contract with the City of Waterloo, Iowa, dated, Nov. 1978,
furnished certain materials and performed labor in connection with
Castle Hill Drainage Improvements Phase I, Contract No. 85, in the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
W HEREAS, the Lehman Trucking Excavating of Waterloo, Iowa,
for the work performed and materials furnished by the said contractors
under said contract is $78,372.42, and
W HEREAS, under the terms of said contract said Contractors,
Lehman Trucking & Excavating are to be paid 95% of the monthly estimates
as furnished by the Engineers for the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
W HEREAS, said Contractors have been previously paid the
amount of $68,289.93 leaving a balance due $10,082.49, now
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the report of the Engineers be approved, said Contractors,
Lehman Trucking & Excavating, be paid the sum of $10,082.49 and the same
be delivered to the said Lehman Trucking & Excavating
Passed and adopted this 3 day of December, 1979_
