RESOLUTION AMENDING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO
KAYSER PLUMBING & HEATING OF WATERLOO, IOWA
FOR THE GENERAL OBLIGATION BOND DEMOLITION
PROJECT, CONTRACT NO. 163 -D -GO -07-20-09, FOR
AN ADDITIONAL AMOUNT OF $1,000.00, FOR A
TOTAL OF $49,802.00, AND RESCINDING
RESOLUTION NO. 2009-737 IN ITS ENTIRETY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Kayser Plumbing & Heating of Waterloo, Iowa,
be amended for an additional amount of $1,000.00, for a total of
$49,802.00, for the General Obligation Bond Demolition Project,
Contract No. 163 -D -GO -07-20-09, described in the plans and
specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said
project, after public hearing on published notice required by
law, be and is hereby accepted, the same being the lowest bid
received for said work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contract with the said contractor for the construction of said
improvements, said contract not to be binding on the City until
approved by this Council.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Resolution No. 2009-737, be and
the same, hereby rescinded in its entirety.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of June, 2010.
