RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH IOWA
DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES AND DIRECTING
EXECUTION OF SAID AGREEMENT BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Agreement dated June 7, 2010, for a grant in the amount
of $41,000.00, with no required local cash match, from the Low -
Head Dam Safety Cost Share Program to be used for the
construction of three portages (Park Avenue, 5th Street and 7th
Street) and signage to improve safety and access to the Cedar
River for recreational purposes, by and between the Iowa
Department of Natural Resources and the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
be and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor authorized to
execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of June, 2010.
