RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF WATERLOO
JAYCEES TO HOLD WATERLOO JAYCEES FIREWORKS
FESTIVAL EVENT ON SATURDAY, JULY 3, 2010.
WHEREAS, the Waterloo Jaycees have requested to hold the
Waterloo Jaycees Fireworks Festival event at Veteran's Memorial
Park; 4th, 5 h and 6th Street Bridges, Soldiers & Sailors Park; and
the City lot along 4th Street next to the Courier Building on
Saturday, July 3, 2010 (with a rain date of Sunday, July 4, 2010)
from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of the Waterloo Jaycees to hold
the Waterloo Jaycees Fireworks Festival event at Veteran's
Memorial Park; 4th, 5th and 6th Street Bridges, Soldiers & Sailors
Park; and the City lot along 4th Street next to the Courier
Building on Saturday, July 3, 2010 (with a rain date of Sunday,
July 4, 2 010 ) from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight, be and the same
is hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of June, 2010.
