RESOLUTION NO. 2023-390
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., AND
AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
FY 2023 FIBER -TO -PREMISE FEEDER/DISTRIBUTION AND
BACKBONE NETWORK PROJECT, CONTRACT NO. 1080.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, heretofore instructed the
City Engineer of said city to prepare and file plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with the FY 2023 Fiber -to -Premise Feeder/Distribution and Backbone Network
Project, Contract No. 1080, and
WHEREAS, said City Engineer did file said plans, specifications, form of contract, etc.,
in conjunction with the FY 2023 Fiber -to -Premise Feeder/Distribution and Backbone Network
Project, Contract No. 1080, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on June 20, 2023.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it is so ordered on motion
by this Council that said plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the FY
2023 Fiber -to -Premise Feeder/Distribution and Backbone Network Project, Contract No. 1080,
are hereby approved, and said project proceed in accordance with said specifications.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of June 2023.
