RESOLUTION APPROVING MINOR SITE PLAN
AMENDMENT TO THE "M-2, P" PLANNED INDUSTRIAL
DISTRICT TO ALLOW FOR ADDITIONAL PARKING ON
THE EASTERN SIDE OF THE SITE AT A ZERO LOT
LINE SETBACK FOR PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED
AT 2550 GT DRIVE.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the Xcity
of Waterloo, Iowa, approve a minor Site Plan Amendment to the
"M -2,P" Planned Industrial District to allow for additional
parking on the eastern side of the site at a zero lot line
setback for property generally located at 2550 GT Drive, legally
described as follows:
That part of Lots 7 and 8, Northeast Industrial Park,
Plat No. 1, Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa,
described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Lot 7, thence
N00025120"W a distance of 165.00 feet, thence
N89034140"E a distance of 600.00 feet, thence
Southeasterly along a curve concave Southwesterly
having a radius of 50.00 feet and a long chord bearing
S45025120"E a distance of 78.54 feet to the Easterly
line of said Lot 8, thence S00015120"E along the
Easterly line of said Lot 8 a distance of 65.00 feet,
thence Southwesterly along a curve concave
Northwesterly, having a radius of 50.00 feet and a long
chord bearing S44034'4011W a distance of 78.54 feet,
thence S89034140"W along the Southerly line of Lots 7
and 8 a distance of 600.00 feet to the point of
beginning.
The Easterly line of said Lot 8 is assumed to bear
S00025120"E.
And also Tract A, Northeast Industrial Park, Plat No.
2, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa.
And also Tract B, Northeast Industrial Park, Plat No.
3, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa.
WHEREAS, due to the insignificant nature of said minor Site
Plan Amendment, the Council did not deem it necessary to hold a
public hearing, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said minor
Site Plan Amendment should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the minor Site Plan Amendment to the
"M -2,P" Planned Industrial District to allow for additional
parking on the eastern side of the site at a zero lot line
setback for property generally located at 2550 GT Drive, be and
the same is hereby approved.
