RESOLUTION APPROVING A DEVELOPMENT
AGREEMENT WITH IOWA HEARTLAND HABITAT FOR
HUMANITY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SINGLE-
FAMILY HOME, WITH A $5,000.00 INFILL HOUSING
GRANT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Development Agreement dated April 17, 2023, between Iowa Heartland Habitat for
Humanity and the City of Waterloo for the construction of a single-family home, with a
$5,000.00 infill housing grant, located in the Church Row Neighborhood, and legally described
as follows:
THE NORTHEASTERLY 19'/2 FEET OF LOT NO. 5, AND THE
SOUTHWESTERLY 20 FEET OF LOT NO. 6 IN BLOCK NO. 15 IN
WHITNEY AND SEDGWICK'S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA
is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said
document on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of April 2023.
