RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE SALE
AND CONVEYANCE OF CITY -OWNED PROPERTY
GENERALLY LOCATED AT 231 AND 251 JACKSON
STREET TO IOWA HEARTLAND HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
AS JUNE 28, 2010, AT 5:30 P.M. IN CITY HALL
COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA, AND
INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE
NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 28th day of June, 2010, for the purpose
of considering and acting upon a proposal to sell and convey
city -owned property generally located at 231 and 251 Jackson
Street to Iowa Heartland Habitat for Humanity, and legally
described as follows:
231 Jackson Street
Howrey & McWilliams Addition Lot 20 Block 7, all in the
City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
for $1.00, plus costs.
251 Jackson Street
Howrey & McWilliams Addition Lot 25 Block 7, all in the
City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
for $1.00, plus costs.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to
publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the
Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of June, 2010.
