AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1540 KNOWN
AS THE LICENSE ORDINANCE, REPEALING IN ITS ENTIRETY
SECTION 2, ISSUANCE OF LICENSE AND ENACTING IN LIEU
THEREOF A NEW SECTION 2, ISSUANCE OF LICENSE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That Section 2, Issuance of License of Ordinance No. 1540 known as
the License Ordinance is hereby repealed in its entirety and the following
new Section 2, Issuance of License of Ordinance No. 1540 be, and the same
is hereby enacted in lieu thereof.
Section 2. Issuance of License. Any person desiring a
license from the City of Waterloo, Iowa, for any of the purposes
hereinafter referred to shall make application therefor to the
City Clerk on a blank furnished for that purpose, and upon payment
of the license provided for herein, the City Clerk shall issue
to such person the proper license, which license shall be
countersigned by the Mayor before the same shall be valid.
