ORDINANCE NO. 2 5 2 2
ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS AMENDED,
BY ADDING SUB-SECTION NO. 10 TO SECTION 2A-5 OF
SAID ORDINANCE, REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA :
SECTION 1: That Section 2A-5 of ordinance No. 2479, as amended,
be fur her amended by adding after Sub-Section No. 9 of said
section, the following Sub-Section ten (10) :
"10 The West 407. 32 feet in even width of that part of the
Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section
10, Township 89 North, Range 13 West of the 5th Principal
Meridian located in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa, lying Southwesterly of the right of way of
the Illinois Central Railroad excepting therefrom the
South 233 feet of the above described tract ; and also
except that part thereof conveyed to the Stateof Iowa
for highway purposes in accordance with a Warranty
Deed filed July 3, 1953, aid recorded ii Land Deed
Record Book 113-, at page 5, in the office of the Recorder
of Black Hawk County, Iowa, and except any and all legal
highways.
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "R-2" One and Two
Family Residence District, be, and the same is hereby zoned as " R-3"
Multiple Residence District. "
SECTION 2 : That the City Clerk be, and he is hereby, directed to
file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Recorder of Black
Hawk County, Iowa.
